It was the just the middle of November when I visited Covent Garden, and the Apple and Jubilee Markets. The ice rink was already busy, the visitors were enthusiastic for an early Christmas Season and the bubbles and sparkles abounded. We moved slowly with the crowds, trying as we went to photograph those colourful, magical moments that make the holidays special.

It’s always heartwarming to do a little Christmas-peeping-through-windows, when it’s cold outside but warm and toasty inside.
Yes, we were all guilty in Covent Garden of ‘going early’ for Christmas, but friendship, secret wishlists and Love Actually really was all around, and I make no apology for that.
